Glad to know I'm not the only one. Makes me feel better about serving bread pudding, aka "challah kugel", as a side dish for our pre-Yom kippur meal.Couldn't Be Parvehttp://www.couldntbeparve.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1289381798567398075.post-66243603828293194252011-09-26T22:13:06.961-04:002011-09-26T22:13:06.961-04:00I couldn't figure out how to describe a kugel ...I couldn't figure out how to describe a kugel either! I have heard of people making cinnamon buns from extra challah dough! And I actually have seen chocolate kugel (I think it is in the TAG cookbook--there are noodles so it is a kugel).<br />Also notice how babka can be conveniently also changed from dessert into something you eat during a meal by calling it Cinnamon Sugar Challah or Chocolate Chip Challah?Laurahttp://pragmaticattic.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1289381798567398075.post-57773691383774883282011-09-26T10:52:14.743-04:002011-09-26T10:52:14.743-04:00In english you can call any dessert 'kugel'...In english you can call any dessert 'kugel' and then it will be fancy...
